Most sawyers who are accustomed to sawing wood for the standard wood market place have difficulty
understanding what to look for in their wood when cutting for the niche market.  Understandably, when
you normally cut to the lumber standards of FAS or 1 & 2 & Better or Common, looking beyond that
requires the sawyer to re-educate himself.

To understand the niche market place, a look at the end products these users create is often enough to
give a good basic understanding of what the niche user needs.  Simply, the art in the wood.

In order to facilitate that understanding, we've created this page which is full of photos of art wood in
it's final use.  Take a close look and see with the eyes of the artist rather than the eyes of a production
sawyer.

ENJOY!

(If you would like us to feature a project
created from our wood just e-mail a photo
and as we have space, we'll include it.)
