1984  Became certified Tree Farmers with the American Tree Farm System
1985  Started a sawmill business
1986  Started kiln and surfacing operation
1990  Selected Illinois Outstanding Tree Farmers
1991  Opened Oak Leaf Wood 'N Supplies, a retail hardwood store
1994  Finalist in the North Central Outstanding Tree Farm Competition
1997  Paul accepted Chairmanship of Illinois Tree Farm Program
1998  Paul accepted a seat on the Tree Farm Program National Operating Committee
2001 Featured in article by Jack Petree in Timber Line Magazine  "Portable Mill Owner Added
